Hello everyone!
Today we woke to a nice covering of snow and the promise of sun! We've been to Concord today, the scene of the first battle of the War of Independance. We visited the town's museum, the North Bridge, (where the Colonials and British Regulars first exchanged shots) and drove along the Battle Road (where they continued to have a pop at each other all day).

Concord was also the home of authors and poets (Emerson, Hawthorne, Alcott). By the afternoon the sun was out and the sky blue, although the wind was still cold!
We've now driven back around Boston a bit more to Weymouth, to a no frills motel, ready to get back into town to drop the car and catch a train tomorrow.
Bye for now
